No matter where you go in the world, you can find an Irish Restaurant and Pub. It’s one of those laws, like Murphy’s Law. Some of the Irish restaurants are good, and some not, but they are everywhere! Look it up! In Gibraltar, they have O’Reilly’s and The Clipper. In Afghanistan, there’s the Irish Pub of Kabul (yes!!!) and in Moscow, the Shamrock Irish Bar. Anywhere you are going is BOUND to have an Irish restaurant and bar.
Update: Rambler’s Rest has closed. I will provide an update on the new restaurant once I’ve tried it!
So what about Monroe NY? Anything here that might resemble an Irish Bar & Restaurant?
It’s called Ramblers Bar and Restaurant, and it’s located on Route 208, right off Route 17. It’s convenient, and it’s awesome!
The food is yummy! Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips, Cornbeef & Cabbage, Bangers and Mash. Whatever you might want, Irish or not, is probably found on their menu. Yum!
The place is fun! They have bands playing on certain nights, and Family Feud nights, and Trivia Nights and Poker Nights and Super Bowl parties and local events and MORE. If you would like to have a few drinks AND/OR yummy food AND have fun, this is the place to do it.
They are technologically aware! Rambler’s Rest has a facebook page that keeps you up to date on what is going on at their restaurant. You can’t miss an event!
So, what’s the point of this post? To share the yumminess and funness of our Monroe Irish restaurant and pub. If you’re in the area, come visit Ramblers Bar and Restaurant. You’ll be happy you did!
